A Day in the Life… of Winder Ton

Redchurch Street is special, due in no small part to the people who live and work here. What better way to get to know a place than through those people? In the first of a series of profiles, please join us for a day in the life of Winder Ton.

Winder is the founder of Urania’s Children, a gender-fluid perfumery. He is also the dietician in residence at Anatome and has been based on Redchurch Street for over a year. In this video, Winder takes us on a tour of his favourite spots in the neighbourhood.

Be it morning coffee, lunch or a cheeky drink after work, Cecconi’s is a must stop spot for Winder. For shopping, Winder can’t pass Earl of East without popping in to smell their amazing candles and check out new items by many independent labels. Luckily, they also stock Urania’s Children products!

Browns East is also another favourite spot to browse. The major appeal for Winder is that the clothing and accessories aren’t separated by gender, making for a more inclusive shopping experience. Another huge draw is the ever-changing art exhibits which are open to everyone. You can find out about current and upcoming exhibitions on Brown’s website.

We can’t forget Anatome of course, the place Winder spends most of his time on the Street. Anatome provide advice and products designed to improve your sleep, reduce stress, and generally support your wellbeing. Drop in for a consultation.
