As part of StreetFest 2021, the Art Trail has been curated by Rich Mix and features work across all media, from photography to light sculpture.
Starting at Sweaty Betty, the trail meanders along Redchurch Street from Kite to Folk and Boone & Last and, after a brief diversion into Browns on Club Row, will give you one more artist to discover at Rich Mix before culminating in the beautiful Illuminate exhibition.
Artist Martin Richman worked with locals of older generations, sharing their memories of the East End. This exhibition shows how these sessions evolved, with archival photographs and works in progress alongside Martin’s final piece Shards of Light, The Feeling of Remembering, a series of light boxes that beautifully animate the memories shared.
